Outdoor Eettafel

The Outdoor Dining Table has a metal leg with a sleek look and a table top made of burgeoning African softwood called Thermo Ayous. As Ayous wood has an open cell structure, it can be perfectly thermally preserved by means of steam or heat treatment without using any chemicals. The wood is heated up to 215° Celsius. By “baking” the wood, Thermo Ayous is more resistant to moisture, exceptionally solid and will remain maintenance-free for years (Durability class I). Once the Ayous wood has been thermally modified, it has a beautiful modern and warm look and its colour changes by weather conditions to a gradual silvery grey sheen (just like tropical hardwood).
